The MET x Roblox: Replica AR Experience

With the New York Department of Education decreasing spending on the arts, and a falling museum attendance from children, the Met Museum of Art wanted to create a new way to engage children aged 8-13
by leveraging the most popular video game and social platform for the 8-13 age group: roblox _ we released an augmented reality experience that allows children to interact with The MET's artworks across digital mediums, both in the museum and online
My involvement was designing the ux of specific features of the mobile user interface, such as the map, the inventory and the rewards page _ all of which directly inspired the final design, used by tens of thousands of children visiting the MET.
The campaign Drove +200,000 new visitors to The Met, led to 426,000 unique interactions with artworks, and earned several industry awards (Cannes lion, clio, webby, etc.)
